A Journey Out of Darkness

Leicester New Walk Museum & Art Gallery is currently staging an exhibition of their extensive collection of German expressionist works. These include paintings, prints and sculpture which were saved from destruction by the Nazis. The Fascist Regime considered these works and their creators to be "degenerate". Artists represented include Franz Marc, Emile Nolde and Kandinsky.

The exhibition has been extended until 3rd May 2010
