Sargent and the Sea

If you have been inspired by a visit to the coast over the summer and plan to base your next project on seaside themes, then hurry down to the Royal Academy in London to catch this beautiful exhibition. It shows John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) continually returning to the sea for his inspiration. There are images at sea, the coastline and of people who made a living from the sea. It is on until 26th September. Don't miss it!
