The Ballet Russes at the V&A

The Victoria & Albert Museum has a major exhibition this Autumn which looks at the work of the legendary artistic director of the Russian Ballet, Serge Diaghilev. In pre-Revolution Russia he worked with many of the great creative people of the day; composer Stravinsky, designers Leon Bakst and Coco Chanel, artists Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse and George Braque and leading dancer Nijinsky.

You will see theatre cloths, original costumes, set design, props and posters. If you are at all interested in dance, theatre, stage and costume design then this exhibition is a must.

Student tickets are £6 - book online but make sure you have your student card with you when you pick up your tickets. The Museum website has more details.
