George Shaw

George Shaw was born and brought up in Tile Hill, Coventry. For the last fifteen years he has been producing 'photo-realistic' paintings of his childhood home. His medium is enamel paints, which are more normally used for painting 'Airfix' models. His work is on display at The Baltic in Gateshead - a long way to travel, but if you go to this link you can see plenty of examples of his work.
