Commercial Typography

Eric Tabuchi collected his 'Alphabet Truck' artwork whilst travelling on the highways of the USA. It took four years to complete. It is one thing to have found each letter of the alphabet on the back of a truck, but to have managed to photograph them with such similar compositions and lighting is quite remarkable.

Grafitti artist Ben Eine thought his local shops in Spitalfields, London looked like an unwelcoming fortress of metal shutters at night. He persuaded local shopkeepers to let him decorate each shutter with a letter. The result was not only popular with the locals, but led to one of his artworks 'Twenty First Century City' being given as a gift from David Cameron to President Obama.
