Lots of Art on the Telly!

Weather's not too good, but there are plenty of interesting Art programmes to watch.

'British Masters' is currently showing on BBC 4. Art Historian James Fox looks at those influential and radical artists working in the first half of the Twentieth Century, such as Stanley Spencer, John Piper (his painting 'Coventry Cathedral 1940' pictured above), Paul Nash and David Bomberg.
'Britain through a Lens' shows tonight on BBC 4. It's about the pioneering British Documentary Movement which filmed everyday British working life between the 1939 and 1945.

'The Impressionists: Painting and Revolution' charts the ground breaking achievements of Monet, Renoir and their contemporaries and is currently showing on BBC2.

All these shows can be seen on iplayer over the next week or so.
