Lucian Freud at the National Portrait Gallery

Those of you who have visited the Walsall Art Gallery will be familiar with the work of Lucian Freud, particularly the portraits of his wife Kitty Garman. Before his death last year, Freud collaborated with the National Portrait Gallery to plan a major exhibition of his work.

'Lucian Freud Portraits' opens on the 9th February and goes on until the 27th May. It's quite expensive to get in (£14 without concessions) but if you are planning to do any portraiture or figurative drawing or painting as part of your work, then visiting is really a must.
